Arrival, Baidyanath Dham and local Deoghar — Tour Varanasi
DAY 01

Arrival, Baidyanath Dham and local Deoghar

Meet your driver at the confirmed Deoghar Airport, Deoghar Junction or Jasidih Junction pickup point. This two-day version works best with an early arrival; for a midday or evening arrival, add the previous night or move the main darshan to the next morning. Leave luggage at the hotel, with early room access subject to availability, and meet your local assistant.

Visit Baba Baidyanath Temple with time for darshan and a pre-arranged puja if requested. Temple queues determine the duration, so no fixed completion time is promised. Afterwards, pause for lunch and rest. If time and energy permit, visit Naulakha Temple and take a short look at Shiv Ganga or the peda market. A Satsang Ashram visit can replace another local stop when its visitor arrangements allow. Return to the hotel for a quiet evening.

Sightseeing: Baidyanath Dham; optional Naulakha, Shiv Ganga and market.

Overnight: Deoghar

Basukinath excursion and departure — Tour Varanasi
DAY 02

After breakfast, travel privately to Basukinath for darshan, allowing a generous part of the day for the outward drive, temple visit and return. Your assistant coordinates the approach and any separately agreed priest service. Keep lunch and a comfort break in the plan. With a sufficiently late departure and comfortable temple queues, choose one short additional stop such as the Trikut foothills; a ropeway ride is not included. Tapovan is an alternative for guests happy with steps and uneven ground, not an extra compulsory climb. Return for luggage and transfer to the exact station or airport on your ticket. If your departure is early, add another night or omit the excursion; do not rely on a tight same-day connection after Basukinath.

Sightseeing: Basukinath; optional short hill stop only if the departure permits.

Departure: Confirmed Deoghar/Jasidih station or Deoghar Airport

Hotels, vehicles, assistance and puja

Tour Varanasi can arrange carefully selected hotels, private air-conditioned vehicles, arrival and departure transfers, and a local assistant. English fluency among local guides is limited and varies considerably; tell us if detailed English commentary is essential so we can check suitable arrangements before you book. A local assistant helps with coordination and temple procedures but is not automatically a fluent English-speaking cultural guide. Panda or priest services vary in quality and reliability. Avoid unsolicited promises and agree the ritual, priest's fee, materials and any optional donation before proceeding. We can coordinate a requested puja and check permitted special or VIP darshan options for your dates. These depend on temple rules and availability; security checks and some waiting may still apply.

A clear quotation for your family

We can arrange the best-suited available hotels for your comfort and budget, with the property, room type and meal plan named in your proposal. Private vehicles, airport or station transfers and local assistance can be booked with or without accommodation. A fluent English-speaking guide is not automatically included; we check language support separately.

Prices are quoted for your dates and party size. Your written quotation specifies hotel nights, vehicle duties, assistance, train tickets where requested, and the agreed puja or permitted special darshan arrangements. Unless listed, flights, rail tickets, meals, porterage, entrance fees, personal offerings, donations and optional experiences are excluded. No booking or ritual is confirmed until availability and the final scope are agreed.

Choose the pace that suits you

This compact programme assumes an early Day 1 arrival and a suitably late Day 2 departure. Add a second Deoghar night for a gentler pace or inconvenient travel timings.

Temple queues and final walking approaches remain subject to local controls. Tell us about stairs, standing tolerance, wheelchair requirements and luggage before booking. Hill climbs are optional; the Trikut ropeway is not included or promised.
