Itinerary :
Day 1: Arrival transfer + Northern Bazar Walk tour + Attend evening aarti ceremony
On arrival at Varanasi airport, meet with our company assistance and transfer to your hotel. Later, start from your hotel at 04:00 PM for the Northern Bazar Walk. Exploring the Northern Bazaar area in Varanasi can be a fascinating experience as it gives you a glimpse into the city's vibrant culture, ancient architecture, and bustling markets. See Kachori Gali (Food Street), Thateri Bazaar, Perfume Market, Flower market, and Manikarnika Ghat (Cremation Ground).
Later, enjoy a private balcony view of the aarti ceremony at Dashwasamedh Ghat, where flames dance in the hands of devout priests, hymns fill the air, and incense weaves mysticism. A mesmerizing spectacle unfolds, bridging the earthly and the divine.
Return to the hotel around 08:30 PM. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight.
Day 2: Sunrise boat ride + Visit to major Temples + Visit to Sarnath
At 05:00 AM, pick-up from your hotel lobby for a Sunrise Boat Ride on the Ganges. Witness the resplendent heritage of Varanasi as you glide from Dashashwamedh Ghat to Manikarnika Ghat.
Afterward, visit Banaras Hindu University (BHU)'s Birla Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, and Mother India Temple.
Return to the hotel for breakfast and freshen up.
In the afternoon, visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore the Ruins of Sarnath, Buddha Temple, Archaeological Museum, and deer park.
Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 3: Morning at Leisure and Drive to Bodhgaya
Enjoy the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, embark on a drive to Bodhgaya (approx. 250 km, 5-hour drive). Check in to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 4: Bodhgaya Sightseeing
Bodhgaya, where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightenment and became Buddha, awaits your exploration. Visit the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, housing the sacred Bodhi Tree under which Buddha meditated. Explore the Vajrasana (Diamond Throne) and the Animesh Lochana Chaitya.
Next, visit the Great Buddha Statue and various monasteries showcasing unique architectural styles like the Thai Monastery, Japanese Temple, and Tibetan Monastery.
In the afternoon, visit the Archaeological Museum and Sujata Village, where Sujata offered Buddha kheer (rice pudding). Gain insights into local life and the historical significance of Buddha's journey.
Conclude with a visit to the Dungeshwari Cave Temples (Mahakala Caves), where Buddha meditated before enlightenment. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Drive to Prayagraj + Sightseeing
Early morning, depart for Prayagraj (365 KMS: 7-8 Hours). Formerly Allahabad, Prayagraj is steeped in Hindu mythology as the sacred confluence (Sangam) of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati.
Upon arrival, check-in and relax. In the afternoon, visit Triveni Sangam, witness rituals and fairs, and explore Mahavir Mandir and Anand Bhavan, former residence of the Nehru family, now a museum showcasing India's Independence movement.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Leisure and Departure
Spend the morning at leisure. Later, transfer to Prayagraj airport or railway station for your onward journey.
