Day 01: Arrival transfer + See cremation rituals + Evening aarti ceremony

On arrival at Varanasi airport : Company representatives cannot come into the baggage collection area. Having collected your luggage, please make your way towards the exit of the terminal building where you will see a bank of people waiting for you. Amongst them will be a Tour Varanasi’s Representative who will be waiting to greet you with a paging board with your name on it. He will meet, greet and bring you to your Hotel booked. 

Later in the evening drive to river bank of Ganges. 

After reaching here, you will embark on a private boat and glide towards cremation ground – Manikarnika Ghat. This is the only place in the world where cremation goes for 24 hours and every 3rd minute a new dead body arrives for cremation rituals. Know the logic behind burning of dead bodies and see all cremation rituals being performed from your boat with your naked eyes. Photography is not allowed here.

Later after this row back to main Ghat to witness evening aarti [prayer] ceremony which is a kind of Hindu way of worship, which is basically an event organised everyday to give thanks to river Ganges. Normally a Hindu worship is done privately, but this worship ceremony is done on the river bank of Ganges openly and publicly. It is only of its kind, therefore attracts thousands of people daily to witness it. This Hindu ritual of saying thanks is very unique and surreal. It started a few years ago but making its importance rapidly to the world.  

Return back to Hotel for overnight.

Day 02: Sunrise boat ride + City tour + Sarnath tour + Walking tour 

30 minutes prior to dawn, you will be picked up and drive to Ganges river bank, embark on a private boat and witness the very magical and spiritual sunrise. 

Varanasi sunrise boat ride at the time of sunrise from Dashashwamedh Ghat to Harichandra Ghat is the most resplendent ride that takes you across heritage of Varanasi. This ride starts when the sun is just about to come up the horizon. As you glide across waters you can see entire river being engulfed in orange and red hues of the early morning Sun. On alighting at the burning Ghat you can see various cremation rituals. 

After it visit to Kashi Vishwanath Temple also known as Golden Temple of Varanasi. It was constructed in the year 1780 by the Maratha monarch, Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar of the Indore.
Note : Carry your passport copy as the same will be required to show to police while entering inside.

After it return back to Hotel and have your breakfast.

After breakfast enjoy city tour of Varanasi visiting Banaras Hindu University – Largest Residential university in India and Asia, Mother India Temple – A 3 digtal map of India Very unique and only of its kind, Tulsi Manas Temple – A former residence of late and great poet and writer Tulsidas, Durga Temple also known as Monkey Temple and finally visit to an Ashram – Residence of Hindu Monks and Pundits.

Afternoon visit to Sarnath – A place where lord Budhha preached his first sermon. 

You will see Ruins of Sarnath, Budhha Temple, large Buddha statue, Archeological museum and deer park.

After some rest, drive to one of the oldest street of Varanasi and enjoy walking tour.

The holiest city in the river bank of Ganga, has countless unseen things to know and do. A unique mixture of the holiest river with the holiest town of lord Shiva is something can’t be found on the entire planet. All is only possible to see after you step in the old streets and walk in it.

This Varanasi walk takes place in Northern part of the Ghats, and will give real insights of Varanasi. Day 03: Departure transfer 

Morning is at leisure, however vehicle, driver and guide will be at your disposal in case you need to do any additional sightseeing you can do without any additional charges. 

Later in day at an ideal time transfer to Varanasi airport or railway station to catch your flight for onward destination.
