Varanasi Tour Cost 2026–2027: Private Car, Guide, Boat Ride & Ganga Aarti

Plan your private Varanasi visit with a clear breakdown of transport, guiding, boat experiences, temple darshan and evening Aarti. Accommodation can be added if required, or we can work around a hotel you have already booked.

Your total depends on the number of guests, travel dates, duration and chosen experiences. Vehicle and private boat charges are shared across your party, while darshan, Aarti and certain cultural experiences are charged per person.

Private transfers and sightseeing vehicles

The three-day vehicle arrangement applies to the itinerary described in our luxury Varanasi itinerary: arrival and evening Aarti on Day 1; sunrise outing, old-city walk, temple visits and Sarnath on Day 2; departure transfer on Day 3. It is a transport price, not the total tour price. Guiding, boats, darshan, Aarti and admissions are separate. Additional duties and overtime are quoted as required.

English-speaking private guide

A private guide helps explain the city’s traditions, leads the agreed sightseeing route and coordinates meeting points. The fee is per guide for the agreed party, rather than per guest. Confirm the scope of an early-morning or split-day programme in your quotation; a full-day price should not be assumed to cover every possible duty from sunrise to evening.

Private sunrise boat options

The decorated arrangement includes a flute player; do not add the separate musician charge again. A standard boat with a separately arranged flute player totals INR 5,500 before any applicable taxes or additional services, but does not include the decorated-boat arrangement.

Confirm the boat’s capacity, duration, boarding point and configuration for your group. All river experiences depend on suitable conditions and permission to operate.

Sankalp Ganga Aarti — INR 1,100 per person

Experience the evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat with reserved seating close to the priests and assistance for the Sankalp prayer and diya offering, according to the organisers’ permitted arrangements.

A Sankalp is a personal prayer or intention made as part of worship. With the chanting, bells, incense and ceremonial lamps close by, the arrangement offers a memorable introduction to the spiritual life of Varanasi. Transfers and private guiding are identified separately in the quotation. Availability must be confirmed for your date.

Kashi Vishwanath darshan and Sarnath entrance tickets

These are our quoted service rates for the proposed arrangements. The final confirmation will identify the darshan service and Sarnath tickets included. Temple security checks, eligibility and administrative rules still apply; a private arrangement does not remove those requirements.

Optional cultural experiences

The weaving visit focuses on working looms, craftsmanship and the livelihoods behind Banarasi textiles, with no obligation to shop. A guided food walk introduces the city through selected tastings. A private Kathak performance offers an opportunity to experience its classical dance tradition in a separately arranged setting.

Choose the experience that matches your interests and available time. Optional activities should not turn a comfortable itinerary into a rushed series of stops.

How many days should you plan?

One day: Select your priorities. A sunrise outing, temples, Sarnath and evening Aarti create a long day and require a quotation covering the full guide and vehicle duties.

Two nights / three days: Arrive and attend Sankalp Aarti on Day 1, enjoy the main sightseeing on Day 2, and depart on Day 3. The vehicle references above apply to this proposed programme.

Three nights / four days: Add a day to separate Sarnath, temples and artisan visits, with longer rest periods. Request a separate quotation for the extended arrangement.

Compare inclusions before comparing prices

Check whether a price is per person, per guide, per vehicle or per boat. A three-day car arrangement is different from an all-inclusive tour. Likewise, a standard boat and a decorated boat with live flute music are different products.

Your quotation should specify service hours, tickets, taxes, parking, tolls and any additional charges. Confirm these details before booking.
