Is this a fast Buddhist Circuit?
It is a focused seven-day route and therefore involves regular travel. Guests who want more meditation time or a gentler pace should consider adding nights. Seven days works when the priority is to connect the principal pilgrimage sites, but it is not the right choice for someone wanting long meditation sessions or very slow mornings. There are several road sectors, so we keep sightseeing selective and avoid adding minor stops merely to fill the programme.
How much walking is required?
Moderate walking is expected at several archaeological and pilgrimage sites, with some uneven surfaces. In practice, we judge this more by the surfaces, crowds and access points than by kilometres alone, because those are what usually make a sightseeing day tiring. If you let us know your comfort level before arrival, we can shorten walking sections, add breaks and choose more convenient drop-off or meeting points wherever local rules allow.
Are local guides available?
Yes. Local English-speaking guides can be arranged at key destinations, while an accompanying escort can be considered for special-interest groups. For us, the value of a guide is not only in dates and history but in handling the practical side of a visit—where to enter, what is open, how much time to allow and when a route should be changed. We prefer guides who can read the guest’s interest and pace instead of delivering the same memorised commentary to everyone.
What should we know about Lumbini?
Lumbini is in Nepal, so passport, visa and border requirements depend on nationality and current rules. These should be checked for the actual travel dates. Because the journey crosses an international border, we check passport validity, visa rules and the practical border procedure for the traveller’s nationality before finalising the route. Border timings and documentation requirements can change, so this is something we reconfirm for the actual travel dates rather than relying on an old itinerary.
Can the route be customised?
Yes. We can add or remove stops, allow more time in Rajgir or Bodh Gaya, and change transport according to the guest profile. Private touring gives us room to make that adjustment properly, so a day does not have to be completed exactly as it appears on the website. We usually decide which experiences are essential for you, then remove or move the less important stops rather than compressing everything into a tiring schedule.
