Itinerary :

Day 1: Arrival transfer + Northern Bazar Walk tour + Attend evening aarti ceremony 


On arrival at Varanasi airport meet with our company assistance and transfer to your hotel. Later start from your hotel at 04:00 PM and start your day with Northern Bazar Walk. Exploring the Northern Bazaar area in Varanasi can be a fascinating experience as it gives you a glimpse into the city's vibrant culture, ancient architecture, and bustling markets. See Kachori Gali [Food Street], Thateri Bazaar, Perfume Market, Flower market, Manikarnika Ghat [Cremation Ground]. 


Later after this walk into a private balcony of Dashwasamedh Ghat to sit on private chairs reserved with best view of aarti ceremony. 


As the sun dips below the horizon in Varanasi, the Ghats of the Ganges come alive with the Evening Aarti Ceremony. Flames dance in the hands of devout priests, hymns fill the air, and incense weaves mysticism. A mesmerizing spectacle unfolds, where ancient rituals bridge the earthly and the divine, captivating hearts.


After this return back to hotel around 08:30 PM. Enjoy your dinner and stay overnight. 


Day 2: Sunrise boat ride + Visit to some major Temples + Visit to Sarnath 


05:00 AM pick-up from your hotel lobby and drive to river Ganges. Embark on a private a private hand rowing boat for an enchanting journey that transcends time and space with a Sunrise Boat Ride in Varanasi. Varanasi boat ride at the time of sunrise from Dashashwamedh Ghat to Manikarnika Ghat is the most resplendent ride that takes you across heritage of Varanasi. 


After this visit to Banaras Hindu University (BHU)'s Birla Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple & Mother India Temple etc. 


Return to the hotel to enjoy breakfast and freshen up.

Later in afternoon visit to Sarnath - is a sacred pilgrimage site where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Echoes of enlightenment permeate the ancient stupas, serene gardens, and the Dhamek Stupa. 


You will see here Ruins of Sarnath, Buddha Temple, large Buddha statue, Archaeological Museum and deer park etc.


After this return back to hotel and stay overnight.


Day 3: Visit to Death Hostel, Bengali Tola Walk & Ramnagar Fort


Have you ever thought, what every Hindu wants after death? Paradise or Heaven? No, it is Moksha or Salvation. Explore a hostel wherein people check-in to die. 

Mukti Bhavan provides accommodation to those who wish to breathe their last in Varanasi. Sounds strange, doesn’t it ? The fact that 15,000-odd people have died at MuktiBhavan ever since its inception might help you grasp the reality of this phenomenon.Hindus believe that the one who dies in Varanasi attains moksha, or salvation. Dying in Varanasi is believed to help the soul break out of the endless cycle of birth and death. Though these beliefs are highly debatable, every year, hordes of believers flock to this holy city, hoping to attain redemption in death here.

Later after enjoy Bengali Tola Walk in the after breakfast.

 

The Bengali Tola Walk through the narrow alleys of Varanasi is a rich cultural walk which takes you through the heart of the residential areas in the old city where the Bengali community have been living for generations. It gives you an opportunity to acclimatize with the culture and understand how people live here for thousands of years.

The Bengali’s are a community originally from the east part of the country i.e. West Bengal. They are peaceful people, very rich in their traditions and culture.

The walk takes you through the narrow alley ways along little shops catering to the locals. There are some Ashrams along the way where the monks & the pilgrims stay. We also visit an old private residence which also has a Kali temple where you get an opportunity to interact with the family living there.


In the late afternoon visit Ramnagar fort it is a fortified building made with cream-colored sandstone built in Mughal styled architecture. The fort includes Veda Vyasa temple, Dakshin Mukhi Hanuman temple, museum, big astronomical clock, carved balconies, pavilions, open courtyards, Durbar Hall and reception room. The private residence area of the king is not opened for tourists.

Museum of the fort: The museum inside the fort is also called as Sarawati Bhawan. This Bhawan was a public audience hall in the past. Today, the museum holds a rare collection of ivory works, vintage cars of America, medieval costumes, gold ornaments, silver works, sedan chairs, palanquins, old guns, elephant saddles and others. There are many books, manuscripts, Mughal miniature illustrated books and others are also found here.  Astronomical clock: The fort contains a rare clock, which shows time, day, week, month and astronomical details about the position of planets, moon and the sun. This clock was built in 19th century by an astronomer in the court of Varanasi king.

Return back to hotel for overnight stay.


Day 4 : Departure transfer 


Morning at leisure, later in the day at an ideal time transfer to Varanasi airport or railway station to catch your flight or train for onward destination.
