Private North India journey · 4 Days / 3 Nights

4 Days Delhi, Agra, Mathura & Vrindavan

A compact private journey for travellers who want the Taj Mahal and the sacred Krishna towns without adding unnecessary Delhi sightseeing. The route uses the expressways sensibly, keeps the first night simple after arrival, and gives Braj a proper final day rather than treating Mathura and Vrindavan as a single roadside stop.

Day by day

Your itinerary.

Day 01Delhi

Delhi arrival — overnight only

Meet our representative at Delhi airport or railway station and transfer privately to your hotel. We intentionally keep this day free of sightseeing so a late international arrival, domestic connection or rail journey does not create a rushed first day. If you arrive early, the afternoon remains at leisure rather than forcing monuments into the programme. Your driver and next morning departure time are reconfirmed at the hotel.

Sightseeing: No scheduled sightseeing. Rest and prepare for the road journey.

Overnight: Delhi

Day 02Agra

Delhi → Agra — Taj Mahal & Mughal Agra

After breakfast drive to Agra by expressway. Visit the Taj Mahal with a private guide, allowing enough time for security, the gardens and the main platform rather than a hurried photo stop. Continue to Agra Fort to understand the imperial city and the relationship between Shah Jahan’s fort and the Taj across the Yamuna. The order can be reversed according to Taj Mahal closing rules, weather and your arrival time.

Sightseeing: Taj Mahal, Agra Fort; optional Mehtab Bagh if daylight permits.

Overnight: Agra

Day 03Vrindavan

Agra → Mathura → Vrindavan

Leave Agra after breakfast and drive towards Braj. In Mathura visit Shri Krishna Janmasthan, then continue through the old city towards Vishram Ghat when temple and crowd timings allow. Later drive to Vrindavan for ISKCON Krishna Balaram Mandir and Prem Mandir, with the evening left deliberately flexible because temple access and local traffic can vary. This day joins the two Krishna cities without pretending that every temple in Braj can be covered in a few hours.

Sightseeing: Shri Krishna Janmasthan, Vishram Ghat, ISKCON Krishna Balaram Mandir, Prem Mandir.

Overnight: Vrindavan

Day 04Departure / onward

Vrindavan temples → Delhi departure

Begin early with Banke Bihari Temple when crowd conditions are generally more manageable, followed by one selected old-Vrindavan temple or Keshi Ghat depending on your interest. Return to the hotel for breakfast or a short refresh before driving to Delhi. The departure timing is adjusted to your flight or onward train, with a generous buffer for Delhi traffic. If your departure is very early, the Vrindavan morning can be moved to the previous evening and the final day kept entirely for transfer.

Sightseeing: Banke Bihari Temple; optional Radha Raman Temple or Keshi Ghat.

Overnight: Tour ends in Delhi

Why we plan it this way

Less backtracking. More time where it matters.

Delhi is a gateway

On these sacred routes we do not automatically spend a day sightseeing in Delhi. Arrival and departure nights are kept simple unless you ask to add Delhi separately.

Transfer days stay realistic

Long sectors such as Vrindavan–Ayodhya or Ayodhya–Agra are not disguised as full sightseeing days. We protect comfort and move major temple visits to a fresh morning.

Local order can change

A private guide can reverse temples or river visits when crowds, security or seasonal conditions make another order more sensible. The journey is structured but not rigid.

What we can arrange

One operator across the route.

Private air-conditioned transport, airport and railway transfers, local guides, monument entrances, boat arrangements where operating, temple assistance, local experiences and hotel reservations can all be combined. We quote only the services you actually need.
